olive blossom a sign of peace; the promise of fruit to come.

BACP-registered counsellor · Norfolk
I'm a BACP-registered integrative counsellor based in Norfolk, offering confidential, personalised counselling online or by phone to adults anywhere in the UK. I draw on four approaches: person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic and existential. This means our work fits you, rather than you having to fit one method.
Our first conversation is a free 30-minute chat, with no obligation to continue.
I work with a wide range of difficulties and life experiences, including:
I'm a qualified counsellor with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling from the University of East London. Before setting up Olive Blossom Counselling, I worked as a therapist at a London mental health service, seeing clients both face to face and online. I'm also a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), membership number 419711. This means I meet the standards of the BACP Register, work within BACP's Ethical Framework and have regular clinical supervision. You can check my registration on the BACP Register.
I have a long-standing interest in the science and sociology of mental health and wellbeing. As part of my qualification, I completed 40 hours of personal therapy, so I know first-hand what it's like to sit in the client's chair.
My own experience of mental health difficulties and recovery is part of what led me to counselling. I see it as evidence of strength and resilience, not something to hide. It helps me empathise, be genuine and build the mutual trust that good counselling depends on. It's also why I care so much about offering hope, helping people feel less alone and challenging the stigma that can still surround mental health.
From your first message to our final session, you'll be in touch with me directly. You might come to counselling with a specific goal, during a difficult time or because you want to understand yourself better. Whatever brings you, I'll listen with warmth and without judgement, work at a pace that suits you and tailor our sessions to what you need.
Integrative pluralistic counselling, shaped around you
Put simply, integrative means I combine four approaches rather than relying on just one. Pluralistic means we decide together what will help you most, and adapt as your needs change.
You don't need to know which approach you want. I'll guide you, and we'll work it out together. For example, we might draw more on CBT if you'd like practical ways to manage anxiety, or take a more psychodynamic approach if you want to understand where long-standing patterns come from. If one approach already appeals to you, tell me and we'll talk about how to bring it into our work. Whatever we use, you'll have room to be exactly who you are.
Wherever you are in the UK, you can talk to me by video or by phone, whichever feels more comfortable.
Video counselling on Google Meet, so we can see each other without you needing to travel or sit in a waiting room.
Talk by phone, with no camera needed. I'll call you at our agreed time, and my number will show as withheld or 'No Caller ID'. Some people find it easier to open up this way.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. Here's how it usually works, so you know what's ahead.
Fill in the 'Request a free chat' form below. If you'd like to ask something first, send me a question or an email instead. I'll reply within a day.
We'll have a free, no-obligation 30-minute chat. You can ask me anything, tell me a little about what's brought you to counselling and talk about how we could work together. It's a chance for us both to check that I'm the right counsellor for you.
If you'd like to go ahead, we'll usually meet weekly at the same time for 50-minute sessions, online or by phone. In our first session, we'll go through a written counselling agreement covering confidentiality and how we'll work together.
We'll usually review how things are going after 6–8 sessions, and regularly after that, adjusting our approach if needed. When you're ready, we'll plan a well-supported ending.
I'm not an emergency service, and I may not see messages straight away. If you're in crisis or worried about your safety, please reach out now:
If you have a question or feel ready to start, I'd be glad to hear from you. You don't need to know exactly what to say, and I'll reply personally within a day.
